Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and legally in accordance with all federal and state regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution and proper securing.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and daily logbooks.
- Navigate efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws.
- Interact professionally with customers and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and occasional weekends if necessary.
