As a Route Driver for Evergreen, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring our clients receive their orders with precision and care. We value our drivers and provide the tools and support needed to succeed in a dynamic logistics environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Perform thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Deliver goods to customers while maintaining a professional demeanor and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork (BOLs, manifests), and mileage records.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Current Medical Card and DOT Medical Certificate.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong time management, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
