Responsibilities
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or lift gates.
- Plan and execute daily routes to ensure all deliveries are made on time and within budget.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during drop-offs.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork and maintain digital logs.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for handling change and inventory.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; prior logistics or delivery experience is preferred.
- Must be able to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
