Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A/B) in a professional manner.
- Load, secure, and unload cargo at various delivery locations while adhering to safety protocols.
- Manage delivery schedules and maintain accurate route logs and delivery paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including handling signatures and addressing customer inquiries.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in commercial driving or logistics.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of local Los Angeles geography and traffic patterns.
- Basic proficiency with handheld scanners and GPS navigation systems.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
