Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing infrastructure supporting 100+ qubit operations
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for financial and healthcare clients
- Lead hybrid quantum-classical system integrations with AWS/Azure quantum services
- Optimize quantum error correction algorithms for real-world commercial applications
- Manage quantum hardware lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning
- Present quantum infrastructure roadmaps to C-suite executives and technical boards
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging quantum programming languages
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years implementing quantum systems with hands-on experience in superconducting qubits
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum applications
- Security clearance eligibility for DoD quantum initiatives
