Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum annealing architectures for complex optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum coherence in distributed networks
- Integrate quantum accelerators with classical HPC systems for hybrid workflows
- Lead quantum security implementations for next-gen cryptographic protocols
- Create simulation environments for quantum algorithm validation
- Document quantum system specifications and performance benchmarks
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS + 5 years experience accepted)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA) and circuit design
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum development frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Published research in quantum computing or top-tier conference participation
- Security clearance eligibility (active or ability to obtain)
