Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum network architectures supporting 10,000+ qubit systems
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum error correction protocols for industrial deployment
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing environments
- Create security frameworks for post-quantum cryptographic systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control systems and photonic interconnects
- Document quantum system specifications and deployment playbooks
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum algorithm optimization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in high-performance computing or distributed systems architecture
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Q, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Experience with low-latency network protocols and FPGA programming
- Strong background in cryptography and information theory
