Responsibilities
- Architect quantum-computing infrastructure with 99.99% uptime for enterprise clients
- Design fault-tolerant quantum networks spanning 50+ qubits
- Develop AI-quantum hybrid algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping sustainable tech solutions
- Implement quantum-safe encryption protocols for critical infrastructure
- Research emerging quantum materials and cooling technologies
- Document technical specifications for regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing or high-performance infrastructure design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and quantum hardware
- Published research in quantum algorithms or topological computing
- Experience leading technical teams in agile environments
- Security clearance preferred for government contracts
