Responsibilities
- Design quantum-resistant cryptographic systems for enterprise-scale deployments
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing infrastructure with >99.99% uptime
- Lead development of quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant operations
- Optimize quantum algorithms for commercial applications in finance and materials science
- Implement security frameworks protecting quantum communication channels
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic processors)
- Mentor cross-functional teams on quantum computing principles and applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Certification in AWS/Azure quantum services or equivalent cloud quantum platforms
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Security clearance eligibility for DoD/NASA collaborative projects
