Responsibilities
- Design and deploy fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Lead integration of quantum hardware with cloud-native platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography implementation
- Drive R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum algorithm design and circuit optimization
- Secure patents for novel quantum infrastructure methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and dilution refrigerator systems
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing journals
- Certification in quantum cloud platform architecture (AWS/Azure)
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ limitations
