Job Description
Shape the digital frontier at FutureTech Dynamics as we pioneer quantum-secure infrastructure for 2026. We're seeking a visionary Quantum Infrastructure Architect to design next-generation cryptographic frameworks that will protect global data ecosystems against emerging computational threats. This hybrid role bridges theoretical physics and practical cybersecurity, requiring deep expertise in quantum-resistant algorithms and distributed systems architecture.
Join our Austin-based innovation lab where you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and industry disruptors to build the security backbone for tomorrow's digital economy. You'll lead cross-functional initiatives in post-quantum cryptography implementation, quantum key distribution networks, and hybrid quantum-classical systems. We offer unparalleled R&D resources, flexible hybrid work arrangements, and equity in a company valued at $2B+.
Responsibilities
- Design quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols and zero-trust architectures for enterprise systems
- Lead implementation of quantum key distribution (QKD) networks across multi-cloud environments
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-time threat analysis
- Conduct vulnerability assessments against quantum attack vectors using NIST-approved standards
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-resistant silicon chip integrations
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and post-quantum cryptography
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Black Hat conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Cryptography, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years implementing NIST Post-Quantum Cryptography standards (CRYSTALS-Kyber, SPHINCS+)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit simulation platforms
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Experience with AWS Braket or Azure Quantum cloud services
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for government quantum projects
