Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum-classical hybrid computing infrastructure supporting 10,000+ qubit operations
- Design fault-tolerant quantum networks with sub-1ms latency across continental quantum internet backbones
- Lead implementation of quantum-safe cryptographic frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Optimize quantum machine learning algorithms for pharmaceutical and materials science applications
- Develop quantum error mitigation protocols achieving 99.99% computational fidelity
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm development and hardware integration
- Drive quantum cloud service architecture for AWS/Azure/GCP quantum computing offerings
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years designing fault-tolerant quantum systems with demonstrated qubit coherence achievements
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC codes)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical optimization frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum information theory
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit control systems
- Security clearance handling for quantum cryptography projects (DoD/FBI partnerships)
- Fluency in quantum machine learning frameworks (PennyLane, QML, TensorFlow Quantum)
