Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
- Secure $500K+ in annual research grants through compelling proposals and publications
- Develop industry-specific quantum applications in cryptography, AI, and materials science
- Mentor PhD candidates and publish findings in Nature Physics/Science

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development with demonstrated impact
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
