Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes at cryogenic temperatures
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Translate theoretical research into patentable IP and commercial applications
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in top-tier journals
- Present breakthroughs at international quantum technology conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent journals
- Familiarity with superconducting qubit systems or trapped ion platforms
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
