Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in quantum cryptography and secure communications
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent disclosures for quantum innovations
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor architectures
- Conduct quantum supremacy experiments and benchmark new computational paradigms
- Present findings at international conferences including IEEE Quantum Week and Q2B
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature Quantum, PRX Quantum)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and topological quantum computing
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ in research funding from DARPA or NSF
