Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant security protocols
- Author breakthrough research papers for Nature Quantum and IEEE journals
- Architect scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum-enhanced machine learning models
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants through NSF and DARPA proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research
- Published work in quantum supremacy or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Track record of translating theoretical research into commercial applications
