Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols to stabilize qubit coherence
- Collaborate on quantum hardware integration with superconducting circuits
- Publish research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Quantum) with quarterly targets
- Mentor PhD candidates and lead cross-functional innovation sprints
- Secure federal and private research grants totaling $2M+ annually
- Participate in quantum security standards development with NIST
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit simulation frameworks
- Expertise in low-temperature physics and microwave engineering
- Demonstrated ability to secure DARPA or NSF grants
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum applications
