Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms optimized for error-corrected qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-classical hybrid computing architectures
- Develop novel quantum error correction techniques for fault-tolerant operations
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and industry whitepapers
- Secure $5M+ in federal and private R&D funding for quantum initiatives
- Advise Fortune 500 clients on quantum transition roadmaps
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years hands-on experience with quantum circuit design using frameworks like Qiskit or Cirq
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier conference proceedings
- Expertise in quantum annealing and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC, GPU clusters)
- Demonstrated success in securing government research grants
