Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in 2026-era systems
- Develop novel error-correction techniques to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using 100+ qubit processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-processor interfaces
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals with open-source code releases
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, TQC)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum simulation libraries
- Deep understanding of quantum complexity theory (BQP, QMA)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor interfaces
