Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead experimental quantum hardware validation and error correction protocols
- Develop hybrid classical-quantum computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure $1M+ in research grants from DARPA and NSF
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published papers in quantum information science or quantum hardware
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and algorithm design
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control systems
