Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks to validate theoretical models and experimental results
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects integrating quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Author high-impact research papers and secure patents for novel quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and foster innovation through quantum computing workshops
- Collaborate with industry partners to deploy quantum solutions in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Stay current with quantum hardware advancements and adapt algorithms for emerging architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience with major publications
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and frameworks
- Strong foundation in quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and information theory
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments and parallel programming
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Experience with quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex quantum concepts
