Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Develop error mitigation protocols for NISQ-era quantum processors
- Collaborate with AI researchers to create hybrid quantum-classical neural networks
- Lead cross-functional prototyping sessions with hardware engineering teams
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and IEEE Quantum journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and error correction techniques
- Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed quantum computing research
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Qiskit)
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Portfolio demonstrating quantum algorithm implementations
