Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in 2026-2030 use cases
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit architectures
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Develop roadmaps for quantum advantage in industry-specific solutions
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional innovation teams
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent top-tier journals
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum information theory and quantum hardware
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental implementations
