Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for NISQ-era systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from DARPA/NSF
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients for quantum application development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Published record in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Expertise in quantum machine learning applications
- Clearance for government-sponsored research projects
