Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Develop error correction techniques for fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and interfaces
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at top-tier conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum computing education initiatives
- Partner with industry leaders to identify commercial applications for quantum technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE, QAOA)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit simulation tools
- Publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Experience with quantum hardware integration and calibration protocols
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and information theory
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical solutions
