Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to mitigate decoherence and error correction challenges
- Lead quantum simulation projects using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and IEEE Transactions
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor PhD candidates and patent 3+ quantum innovations annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Security clearance eligibility for government projects
