Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols on hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Develop error mitigation techniques for near-term quantum devices
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Secure external funding through government and industry grants
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Publication record in quantum computing or quantum information
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills for complex computational challenges
