Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve quantum supremacy by 2026
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes at cryogenic temperatures
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to hybridize quantum-classical computing pipelines
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum information theory
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum architectures and methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and qubit manipulation techniques
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences/journals
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error correction
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
