Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum processors using superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum software with next-generation qubit architectures
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at premier quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and computational physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and high-performance simulation frameworks
- Strong foundation in quantum error correction and topological quantum computing
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control electronics
