Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into real-world applications
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present at premier quantum conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design next-generation quantum processors
- Mentor PhD researchers and secure government/industry grants
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in quantum machine learning applications
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
