You'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and industry pioneers in our state-of-the-art Austin facility, tackling challenges in quantum supremacy, error correction, and hybrid quantum-classical systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop novel quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects with hardware and software teams
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in quantum computing
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Mentor junior researchers and drive technical roadmaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum information science
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
