Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum systems on superconducting platforms
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Collaborate with industry partners to translate theoretical models into prototypes
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (post-doc experience preferred)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and error correction methodologies
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or quantum information
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation and control systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects
