Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes at cryogenic temperatures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into scalable solutions
- Publish research in leading quantum computing journals and conferences
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and architectures
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation through quarterly hackathons
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years postdoctoral experience
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals (minimum 5 papers)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing frameworks
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Track record of securing government or corporate research grants
