Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Conduct cutting-edge research in quantum error correction and qubit stabilization
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for commercial applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to validate quantum processor architectures
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at industry conferences
- Lead cross-functional projects translating quantum research into practical solutions
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field with 3+ years of research experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm development (QAOA, VQE, Shor's algorithm)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum hardware platforms
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing or physics journals
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
