Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using D-Wave and IBM systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum architectures
- Collaborate with machine learning teams to hybrid quantum-classical frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $2M+ in quantum computing research grants annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience with Qiskit or Cirq
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent top-tier journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation and control systems
