Responsibilities

- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Secure research grants and patents for quantum computing innovations
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to lab's strategic roadmap
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum programming languages
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and computational complexity
- Experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
- Proven ability to secure research funding through NSF, DARPA, or similar programs
