Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead experimental validation of quantum computing architectures on our 1000-qubit processors
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop quantum-resistant cybersecurity frameworks
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present at global tech conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive open-source quantum computing initiatives
- Secure multi-million dollar research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Shape quantum computing standards for the 2026 technology ecosystem
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and HPC environments
- Strong background in linear algebra, topology, and quantum information theory
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum hardware
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
