Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for computational optimization problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum systems using superconducting qubits and photonic processors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Secure and manage research partnerships with leading academic institutions and government agencies
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (e.g., IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical ML frameworks
- Publication record in quantum computing or related high-impact research areas
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding through grants and partnerships
- Strong analytical skills with experience in complex problem-solving
