Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant security protocols
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier journals
- Prototype quantum circuits using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to mitigate decoherence challenges
- Secure $2M+ in research grants through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (QASM, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological computing
- Expertise in tensor network simulations and quantum annealing
- Experience with superconducting qubit platforms (e.g., Rigetti, IBM)
- Strong track record of securing government research funding
