Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for optimization problems in finance, logistics, and materials science
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum solutions using IBM Quantum and D-Wave systems
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and peer-reviewed journals
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Secure $5M+ in government grants and private funding for quantum research initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum error correction
- Publication record in top-tier journals with 10+ citations per paper
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
