Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications in finance, logistics, and AI
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum system performance and error correction
- Lead cross-functional research projects publishing in top-tier journals and conferences
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics and pattern recognition
- Secure patents and intellectual property for breakthrough quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing environments
- Experience with quantum simulation tools and cloud quantum platforms (AWS Braket, IBM Quantum)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical applications
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex quantum concepts to diverse stakeholders
