Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world commercial applications

- Secure and manage $2M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum physics and computational theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (post-doc preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with superconducting qubits or trapped-ion systems
- Published research in Nature/Science/Physical Review X on quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Strong track record of securing federal research funding
