Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-corrected quantum computing architectures with 100+ qubit stability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Publish groundbreaking research in Nature/Science journals and industry whitepapers
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA/NASA grants for quantum supremacy projects
- Mentor postdocs in quantum machine learning applications
- Advise C-suite on quantum transition roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum processors
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research grants
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and quantum neural networks
- Clearance for DOE/NIST quantum security initiatives (or ability to obtain)
