Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms targeting practical applications in 2026+ tech landscapes
- Lead experimental validation of quantum circuits on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure research grants and patents in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of postdoctoral experience
- Proven expertise in quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra and statistical mechanics
