Responsibilities
- Develop quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Lead experimental validation of quantum error correction protocols on dilution refrigerator systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to design scalable quantum processor architectures
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent novel quantum-resistant cryptographic methods
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum information theory
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum circuit design and Qiskit/Cirq frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Demonstrated success in securing NSF or DARPA funding
- Expertise in Shor's algorithm implementation and quantum supremacy experiments
