Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for 2026-era applications in cryptography, optimization, and materials science
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and computer scientists in quantum system development
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D funding through NSF, DARPA, and private sector proposals
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for industrial deployment by 2026
- Establish industry-wide quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and maintain 10+ patents
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 8+ years of quantum research experience
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction, quantum annealing, or topological qubits
- Experience securing $1M+ government grants for quantum research
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
