Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms targeting 2026-era hardware constraints
- Lead error-correction research to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with industry partners to identify high-impact commercial applications
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and top-tier conferences
- Secure $2M+ in annual research funding through grant proposals
- Mentor PhD researchers and postdoctoral fellows in quantum methodologies
- Develop patentable quantum computing architectures for enterprise solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance protocols
- Proven track record of securing government/industry research grants
- Strong programming skills in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary research teams of 10+ members
