Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional quantum algorithm development teams of 8-12 researchers
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits for optimization and simulation applications
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Publish 4+ high-impact papers in Nature/Science annually
- Develop quantum error correction techniques achieving 99.99% fidelity
- Partner with MIT and Stanford on quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published 15+ peer-reviewed quantum computing papers
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record securing federal research funding
- Experience leading teams of 10+ technical professionals
