Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography, optimization, and molecular simulation applications
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures targeting 2026 deployment milestones
- Publish groundbreaking research in Nature Physics/Science with 2+ annual publications
- Secure $5M+ in DoE/NASA grants for quantum climate modeling initiatives
- Mentor PhD fellows in quantum error correction techniques
- Collaborate with IBM/Google quantum teams on industry standardization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science with 5+ years industry research
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals (QIP, QCE)
- Expertise in Qiskit/Cirq with 100+ hours of quantum circuit design
- Track record of securing government research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Experience mentoring postdoctoral researchers
