Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization and cryptography applications
- Design scalable quantum error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Manage cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D funding through DOE/NASA grant applications
- Develop quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks for enterprise clients
- Present breakthroughs at IEEE Quantum Week and World Economic Forum summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum gate-level programming (QASM, Qiskit)
- Proven track record of quantum hardware integration with superconducting systems
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and variational algorithms
- Strong publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF, DARPA)
- Fluency in Python/C++ with quantum simulation frameworks (Cirq, Q#)
